Two sentences. Make them count.
Two Sentence Horror is an original short-horror publication and interactive October project. The house rule is literal: a story is two sentences, not a paragraph disguised with punctuation tricks.
What gets published
The strongest stories establish a clear reality in sentence one and make sentence one worse in sentence two. We favor dread, implication and reversals that survive a second read over gore for its own sake.
Original fiction
Stories published as site originals are written for this project. Reader submissions must be submitted by someone who owns or is authorized to submit the work. Approved reader work is credited using the display name the submitter chooses.
The archive is fiction
The Incident Archive, impossible dates, 31 Doors and related “recovered” material are a fictional horror experience. The site does not secretly activate microphones, cameras or location services. Browser memory used for favorites and progress stays on the visitor’s device unless they deliberately submit a story or email address.
