My doctor assured me that the shadow standing in my doorway during sleep paralysis was only a hallucination.

Sleep removes the reader’s ability to verify what happened, which lets one physical detail carry the entire turn.

It follows the house rule: exactly two sentences, with the turn doing more than adding a monster. It changes the reader’s interpretation of the setup.
